Chief Clinical Director & MFT, Logos CDC Community Counseling Services
Life is a complex journey, and at times, we all need help navigating its challenges. As a mental health counseling professional with over 15 years of experience, I am here to provide you with the support and guidance you need. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in various inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I also have extensive experience providing consultation and training to organizations and have served as a guest lecturer at various universities. Currently, I am an adjunct professor in the human service program at Rasmussen University, which has enabled me to stay up-to-date with emerging best practices and provide my clients with evidence-based interventions.
My educational background includes a Master’s in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Psychology, and I am certified in several modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. While I am trained in various approaches, I understand that each client’s needs and goals are unique. As such, I take a client-centered approach and collaborate with my clients to determine the best course of treatment that aligns with their preferences and goals.
In my practice, I prioritize creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment that empowers my clients to explore their challenges and work towards personal growth and change. I firmly believe in the therapeutic partnership’s power and the strengths and resources that we all possess. It is my privilege to offer my assistance to you on your journey towards a happier, healthier life. I commend you for taking the first step and reaching out for help, and I look forward to working with you.
