Nay’yarrah brings a compassionate, approachable, and tailored approach to her work as a therapist intern. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was also a standout member of the gymnastics team, specializing as a floor exercise competitor. With over 15 years of competitive gymnastics experience, Nay’yarrah has a deep understanding of the unique pressures athletes face, including performance-related anxiety, perfectionism, and the mental demands of high-level sports. Her time as a floor specialist at the University of Pittsburgh gives her a unique perspective to help athletes excel both in their sport and in their personal lives.

In addition to her work with athletes, Nay’yarrah specializes in supporting children and teenagers. She has extensive experience working with young clients across therapeutic and school-based settings, helping them develop resilience, confidence, and emotional intelligence. As a behavioral interventionist, she has worked directly with children presenting with challenging behaviors, including emotional dysregulation, defiance, and school-based difficulties, using strength-based and behaviorally-informed approaches to support lasting growth.

Known for her ability to create a warm and supportive environment, Nay’yarrah empowers young people to navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, social difficulties, and family dynamics. She believes that therapy is a collaborative journey and strives to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.

When she’s not working, Nay’yarrah enjoys staying active, spending time with loved ones, and exploring ways to bring mindfulness and balance into her daily life.

Whether you’re navigating the challenges of competitive sports, the complexities of family life, or behavioral and emotional struggles, Nay’yarrah is here to help you take the next step toward a healthier, more fulfilling future.
